After 12 years as a Juvenile Probation Officer for Anoka County, I have given up great benefits and financial stability to become a barber.

I was a late bloomer and didn't get a college degree until I was 30. I didn't know what I wanted to do and changed majors or worked off an on for awhile.

I've been married for 8 years to Chellie and have 2 kids: Liliahna and Bennett and 2 step-kids: Jon and Carly. I'm lucky. The older kids show great patience with the younger ones.

Chellie is a free-lance photographer who specializes in nature pics. One of her clients was the Bellagio in Las Vegas. They paid for a weekend stay and Chellie took pictures for their website. We had a great time. In between jobs, she runs an ebay business.

I still work out (not as much as I should) and am in the Traditionals classic car club.
